A warm welcome to this website of The Mar Thoma Parish, Dubai. As you travel through these pages, you can see from our history that this church was established in 1969 to serve the spiritual growth of the Mar Thoma community in Dubai and to bear witness to our Lord Jesus Christ through the work as a parish.
Our church is located in the Jebel Ali area in the Emirate of Dubai. Established in 1969 by a small group of believers who came from Kerala, the parish serves under the Kunnamkulam-Malabar Diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church of India. Today, with a membership of over 2400 families, the Church serves the spiritual needs of the Mar Thoma families in this city. With Holy Communion services both in Malayalam and English, we have four worship services every week. Rev. Thomas Zachariah is the Vicar of the Church, Rev. Benny V. Abraham is the Asst. Vicar and Rev. Roby Jacob Mathew serves as the Youth Chaplain.
The main aim of the website is to disseminate news about our parish and diocese to our members, publish articles, and update information on all activities with respect to various organisations of our parish. This website, with many of its useful links, will give you enough information to understand not only about our parish but also about the faith and practices of the Mar Thoma Church.
Thank you for visiting us on this home page. We hope you will find the information timely and valuable. We are in the process of updating information section-by-section and you will find the links opening up as it gets updated. Some new features have been built in as well, like a Job Cell Helpline to cater to those who may be searching for jobs.
May God bless you all.
